As the credit crunch settles in more and more people are looking to cut back on their expenditure habits. One matter a lot of families are now not looking at is purchasing new cars, they are alternatively opting for choosing to drive around used cars, which are a lot cheaper to buy. But there are actually many benefits that you can get from a new car so lets have a look at a few.

More Comfortable

If you have every driven a new car you will come to see just how comfortable they are, in cars older than a few years they begin to get shaky and noisy. When you have taken the wheel to a new car it just feels so much more pleasant and smoother.

Better Miles

The older model of cars do tend to burn much more fuel than newer versions. You will get so many more miles out of your new vehicle than you would the old one.

Save the Planet

If you really want to help stop the planet from global warming and damage to the atmosphere, then you will go and purchase yourself a new vehicle right down. Old vehicles tend to hurt the planet a vast amount more. New cars have much better CO2 emission levels.

Safer

We all remember the cars from three decades ago, no airbags, no central locking and no safety measures at all in place. Now look at the new vehicles and see the difference. If you use the car quite a bit then safety should really come first.

More Reliable

No more breakdowns or failed startups. There is nothing worse in the cold winter months than your car failing to begin and leaving you stuck in the cold or even worse the snow!

Superb used cars, Looking for a great Honda or Mercedes

Cars are getting cheaper and cheaper, yet I am still seeing a lot of people driving cars that are literally over a decade old. It seems as though some people just do not acknowledge when their automobile has had it. So I am basically compiling a top five list so you know exactly when to change your vehicle.

Startup Times

If your automobile fails to begin every single day and it is over a decade old then it could potentially be time to call it a day. Go out and get yourself a brand new vehicle which is not older than five years. At least you will get a regular start up.

Exhaust

If your exhaust is simply getting louder and louder then you really know your car has had it. Is it really worth it to pay to get a new exhauset, when you could instead spend your money on purchasing a new vehicle? Also take into account that if you notice any black smoke coming out of the exhaust then it could signal some major problems.

Oil Leak

Oil leaks may be an indication that something is seriously wrong with the vehicle, check the colour of the oil and if it is black then this could again indicate that you really need to scrap the car.

Clutch

Is the clutch beginning to get heavier and heavier. If it has then a car change may be necessary immediatley as the clutch will probably cost more to fix than the car is worth.

Bodywork

Ultimately I would check to see the body work, if you have major rust on the car, not only can it be life-threatening to the driver and passenger. But it will also probably fail its next MOT test leaving it off the road and leaving you carless.

Superb used cars, Looking for a great Alfa Romeo or Mercedes

A few years ago I was asked to prepare an article which could help to enhance the reputations of used car salesmen. Evidently I’m no miracle worker, but I thought it was possible to produce a positive spin.

I was on the job as a journalist at the time, and had a cracking friend whose family had been in the automobile line of work for years. It was his suggestion to come in to the company and spend a day or two working at the sharp end. There can be no better way of researching something than putting yourself in the actual environment.

I had never been to the garage where my friend worked before, but I knew that I was near by when I saw the entrance to Raffety’s used cars for sale. The showroom was deceptively roomy, and appeared to go back far towards the centre of the railway line arch. There were many different makes and models on show.

When I arrived, a little later than promIsed, I saw a young bloke on the forecourt applying some sensitive care to a old BMW. “Are you looking to Buy an Audi“, he asked with a hopeful look on his face. I instantly though that he must be on some kind of commision agreement, as he wasted no time in speaking to me.

“No thanks” I replIed, “I am hear to see how the business organisation works, and to compose an article for the local newsprint.”

Having said my introductions, I was sat near the phone and told to be the voice of the company. This I enjoyed, as I think that I have a pretty good rapport with the general public. Perhaps the most common question that I was asked was ‘do you know where I can Buy a Renault.’

pOver recent years the a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk target=_blankused cars/a market has seen a decline in the amount of revenue and sales that are made. Used car figures were actually down by around pound;24 billion for the 2008 year, there were around 300k less cars sold then the previous years./pp/ppWe all know that this was solely down to the credit crisis which hit the world in late 2008.!–more– People began to panic and control their money and one thing in life that people could afford to cut down on was purchasing a car and we all know that the huge majority of people chose to drive a used car because they can get more value for their money./pp/ppSo what happened in 2009? And why is the used car market still suffering? Well I believe this is all due down to the vehicle scrappage scheme. Although it has been beneficial in boosting the new automobile market, it has left the secondhand automobile marketplace trailing behind, the reason for this is as follows./pp/ppWhen people want to buy a new car they usually put their old one for sale, this then gets sold to a newbie driver who then passes it on and does the same thing. But because of the scrappage scheme people are rather choosing to hand it in to a participating garage and getting themselves a brand new car./pp/ppI do anticipate the secondhand automobile marketplace to get back up on its feet in 2010, as the scrappage scheme will not last forever I mean in the end its the authorities who are backing it and it has probably already costs millions of pounds to save the modern automobile market, but on the other hand it has hurt another market even worse./pp/ppDo you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/bmw target=_blankBuy a new BMW/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/toyota target=_blankBuy a Toyota/a/p
