A couple of weeks ago I was speaking to a friend of mine who owns a Newsagents business. She bought the business a couple of years ago and works some very unsociable hours.

She explained that although she enjoys working in the shop, when the shop closes at the end of the day, her work still is not finished. She has to replace her stock daily by visiting the local Cash and Carry.

I asked her why she has to go daily, and she explained that as she does not own a van she is having to use her car for the stock run and obviously her car just is not built to carry much stock.

This got me thinking if somehow I might be able to ease her plight somewhat. I thought that probably the best aid for her business would be to have the use of a van. I felt this would enable her to purchase greater amounts of stock at the Cash and Carry, therefore minimising the time spent there. At the present time, I know that she cannot afford to purchase a new van. Bearing this in mind, I thought it would be beneficial to carry out a bit of investigative work into the possible merits of Van Contract Hire.

I was very happy with the information I collated and at the present time, I feel this would be the ideal solution to her transport requirements. Bearing this in mind I have put the suggestion to her that she looks at Ford Transit Leasing as a viable option to using her private car.

However, I was also thinking about other ways to improve her business and recalled she had an unused fridge in her shop, which could easily be stocked up. I told her it could be worth considering Refrigerated Van Leasing when thinking about a van for her business.

I feel that whichever van she decides to lease, it can only benefit her business.
