Money is presently tight with a lot of people, but people in this day and age still need cars if they want to get around anyplace. But what would actually be more beneficial to buy, would it be junk or a hunk of a vehicle? Let’s have a look at the asset and negative sides of both.

New Cars

Initially news cars tend to be much more reliable than older versions. As well as this they are much more comforting then the old model of cars. You are probably going to end up saving a huge amount of money on petrol costs simply because new cars are a lot more efficient than your old models. You are also going to save money on things such as break down costs. The negative aspects of getting a new vehicle is that you will end up paying a huge volume more to insure yourself. Also if the car does happen to break down then you are going to end up paying more for parts.

Used Cars

Well used cars are exactly that, they are simply used vehicles that have probably been around for numerous years. You are not genuinely going to find any current or up to date technology in these cars, the vehicles have also in all likelihood got to a stage where they are going to tardily begin breaking down, therefore ending up costing you a lot throughout the year in repairs. But the benefits that you can get from buying a used car, is simply the fact that they are a lot cheaper to buy, the insurance is going to cost you a lot less and you are probably going to end up saving money in the long run.

When your old vehicle has had it, why not look at buying or viewing used cars, there are so many different models of Honda or Ford

An increasing number of motorists are complaining that car parking spaces, in various car parks, are simply too small. Is this really a problem or is the issue due to the size of cars that people are driving these days?

The largest operator of public car parks in the United Kingdom, Park Rite, say that the dimensions of parking spaces need to relate to the vehicles that the space is intended for. The current standard suggests that bays are 2.4m wide and 4.8m long. But many of todays popular cars, especially four wheel drive and people carriers, will only just fit into this space leaving no room for doors to be opened easily.

There have been reports that some car park operators have purposely made some of their parking spaces narrower in order to squeeze more vehicles into their car parks. Some of the worst offenders are reported to be certain hospital car parks, some supermarkets and some long-stay airport parking lots. There have been reports of people unable to get into their cars due to adjacent vehicles being parked so close.

So, is the problem due to the standard dimensions of parking bays or is it due to the increase in vehicle dimensions? A common and popular 4 wheel drive vehicle is the Toyota Rav4. This common four wheel drive car has a width of 1.815m, without its mirrors. If we allow around 35cm for the wing mirrors this brings the width up to 1.85m. In a parking space of 2.4m width this would leave only 0.55m or only 0.275m on either side. This leaves very little space for getting into and out of the vehicle.

The problem is worse when the car has particularly long doors, as is the case for many of today’s 3 door vehicles. The popular Renault Clio 3 Door, with its mirrors, is 2.025m. In a regular 2.4m space this would leave only 0.375m or only about 0.19m on each side for opening the doors and getting into and out of the car.

It looks like the problem is really down to the size of the cars that people are driving so perhaps car park operators need to take this into account when marking out their parking bays.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Top Tip: Make the most of your trip by spending a night in an airport hotel before your flight. And why not enjoy the hospitality of an airport lounge before you fly.

pOver recent years the a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk target=_blankused cars/a market has seen a decline in the amount of revenue and sales that are made. Used car figures were actually down by around pound;24 billion for the 2008 year, there were around 300k less cars sold then the previous years./pp/ppWe all know that this was solely down to the credit crisis which hit the world in late 2008.!–more– People began to panic and control their money and one thing in life that people could afford to cut down on was purchasing a car and we all know that the huge majority of people chose to drive a used car because they can get more value for their money./pp/ppSo what happened in 2009? And why is the used car market still suffering? Well I believe this is all due down to the vehicle scrappage scheme. Although it has been beneficial in boosting the new automobile market, it has left the secondhand automobile marketplace trailing behind, the reason for this is as follows./pp/ppWhen people want to buy a new car they usually put their old one for sale, this then gets sold to a newbie driver who then passes it on and does the same thing. But because of the scrappage scheme people are rather choosing to hand it in to a participating garage and getting themselves a brand new car./pp/ppI do anticipate the secondhand automobile marketplace to get back up on its feet in 2010, as the scrappage scheme will not last forever I mean in the end its the authorities who are backing it and it has probably already costs millions of pounds to save the modern automobile market, but on the other hand it has hurt another market even worse./pp/ppDo you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/bmw target=_blankBuy a new BMW/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/toyota target=_blankBuy a Toyota/a/p

pGettinga href=http://www.carpress.co.uk target=_blankused cars/a is just not an easy decision to make these days, there are so many dodgy cars that you have to be very careful about the decisions you make. The best solution would be to actually bring a mechanic with you to check the vehicle. But if you cannot manage to get hold of one then there are a few things that you could specifically do yourself to make sure that the used car is in tip top shape.!–more–/pp/ppLook Under the Bonnet/ppDo not just walk around the car kicking the tyres, because that will be the least of your problems if the engine is on its way out. When you open the bonnet make sure that there is no oil leaks, also check the oil to see the colour of it, make sure its not too dark. Trying pressing the accelerator t make sure the engine is well./pp/ppCheck the Exhaust/ppAgain rev the engine and make sure there is no odd sounds coming from the exhaust. Also get someone else to rev the engine and briefly place your hand over the exhaust and make sure no black smoke comes out, as this could signal major problems./pp/ppTest Drive/ppA huge amount of people do not test drive their vehicles, they just buy them and when they drive away they begin to notice problems. It is essential to drive the car around for at least 15 minutes to make sure that everything is well. You may notice a huge amount of problems that you would not have done./pp/ppFinally you can take the time to check the interior and dont forget to do a HPI and police check on the car, because these could all signal something majorly wrong with the vehicle./ppbr /Do you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/audi target=_blankBuy an Audi/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/nissan target=_blankBuy a Nissan/a/p

pCash flow this year has been every so tight, the credit crunch has literally hit everyones pockets. But a lot of people still have to get around and make their way to work. Most people do this with their own method of transport such as their car.!–more– But we altogether acknowledge that your automobile can break down on you at some of the worst times possible. Then when you go out to buy another used car it ends up breaking down on you after you have spent thousands./pp/ppSo let us take a quick look at some of the most beneficial ways that can help you to buy a used car./pp/ppTake a Mechanic/ppWhen you go to buy a car, do not just go yourself, bring an experienced mechanic with you that with be able to check over the vehicle and engine and let you know if you should by the car in question./pp/ppFinance Check/ppYou should constantly execute a HPI check on the vehicle to make sure that there is no existing finance on the vehicle, because if there is existing finance then you could be liable to return the vehicle back to the finance company if the person fails to keep up with their payments./pp/ppPolice Check/ppI would also look at getting a police check for a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk target=_blankused cars for sale/a to make sure that the vehicle is fine and it has not been reported stolen. I would also check to make sure that the car has not actually been in any type of traffic accident or has not been written off in the past because this could again see your facing a huge amount of problems with the car./pp/ppDo you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/alfa-romeo target=_blankBuy a New Alfa Romeo/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/mercedes target=_blankBuy a New Mercedes/a/p

pWhen you are thinking of buying an auto, do some digging around initially so that you can locate the best possible deals that are available at the time. People are more careful with their money in todays climate of economic uncertainty and will only part with it for something they feel is of value but at a good deal. All dealerships are aware of this fact and have started offering consumers some really good incentives to entice them to their shops.!–more–/pp/ppPeople who know the auto market well will be aware the most new models appear in the period August-November. This is the time that you should make sure to visit the car dealerships to find the very latest model on the market. Or a person could pay a visit just before the arrival of these new models as dealers try to shift the older models to make room for them, therefore great deals could be found. They will offer really good deals to you just to make more room for these new cars./pp/ppThe Internet is a good place to do some research on the vehicle that you are considering. Try and also read consumer reports like the ones offered by the so-called car experts. While a car may look like the greatest vehicle to you, a consumer or expert may have some information that you dont know that will change your mind. Knowing exactly what it is you are purchasing will help you get the best deals around./pp/ppIf possible, take the vehicle on a long test drive. A short test drive doesnt give you enough time to get a feel for the car. Drive as long as you can to see how it performs over a longer period. If you dont plane on driving longer distance, you will still need to get a feel of the car./pp/ppFor superb a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/ target=_blankused cars/a ,a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/honda target=_blankBuy a Honda/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/mercedes target=_blankBuy a New Mercedes/a/p

pAlmost every driver in the whole world would like to go around in a nice car, but most people can really not afford to constantly buy themselves new vehicles./pp/ppPersonally I do feel that there are so many more benefits that you can get from used vehicles.a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/ target=_blankused cars/a Do not really lose their value.!–more–/pp/ppAs a basic example if I went out to buy a new BMW it would end up costing a fortune, then lets say that I got this on finance it would probably end up costing a huge amount more. Now as soon as you buy this vehicle brand new it has instantly lost around 5k and it will continue losing a few thousand every single time that you use it and by the time you sell it you would have ended up literally losing a huge amount of overall money./pp/ppNow think about getting a secondhand automobile, secondhand cars seem to hold their price a lot longer simply because of the fact that they have already in all likelihood hit their lowest amount. Evidently it will drop year on year but in no way are you going to lose as much money as you would in reality purchasing a new car./pp/ppNow again you have to look at this two ways as I know the new car is not likely to break down at all for the first few years, but the used car depending on which one you actually get will end up breaking down. Again this is not the case a lot of people can get lucky in buying used cars./ppbr /br /Do you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/bmw target=_blankBuy a new BMW/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/mercedes target=_blankBuy a New Mercedes/a/p

pMaking a decision to buy a car is only half the battle; you then need to think about new or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk target=_blankused cars for sale/a. Some people may feel that the cost of a new car is rather prohibitive and not in the budget they had planned for the auto purchase. A used car offers a buyer the option to get a good deal on a great car that may only be a couple of years old.!–more– A couple of things need to be kept in mind before the acquisition of a used car./pp/ppAt any one time there will be lots of used cars in the marketplace that have dramatically depreciated in value. Although these autos are as good as they were a couple of years ago, for example, people are just not buying in large numbers due to the present economic climate. Consequently there has never been a better time to purchase a used car. Just because these motors are at great prices doesnt mean you should be lax in checking it out thoroughly before the purchase./pp/ppIf you are unsure how to go about this, take somebody with you who does. A quick look at the engine and a quick test drive are not going to answer all the questions though. A mechanic or someone who is knowledgeable about cars will be able to help you determine if the car is a good value for the money. These people will also be able to determine any strange sounds emanating from the car on test drive, sounds which you may not pick up on./pp/ppEnsure that your test drive is not a short, quick one. It is essential that you spend as much time in the car as you can before you decide to buy. This is because short test drives will not let you appreciate the comfort, etc. Also, youll not be able to determine how the car handles on longer drives./ppbr /Do you want to a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/honda target=_blankBuy a Honda/a or a href=http://www.carpress.co.uk/mercedes target=_blankBuy a New Mercedes/a/p

One of the worst suffering industries at the current time has to be oil suppliers, the price of crude oil rises and rises every year, this puts the costs through the roof.br / br / But as technology advances we start to see the use of oil degrade more and more, but should oil suppliers really be worried?!–more– Not all oil suppliers should be scared but the specific vehicle suppliers should look at evolving.br / br / The reason for this is because as we can all see the government is very much campaigning for people to start using more eco friendly vehicles, they have even started a vehicle scrappage scheme. So I feel that within the next few years most of the cars on the road are going to be the new breed of electric running ones.br / br / This will not only help up clean the environment but it will also help families in road costs. I mean that the price for fuel is forever increasing. With the current electric cars none of this will actually be useful anymore, instead all you would need is to connect your vehicle to a charge point.br / br / So one of the industries that could potentially see a hit in the future definitely has to be the oil suppliers that cater for commercial and non commercial vehicles. And what is there to say that it will stop there if we are going to clean up the roads why not clean up the skies and have electric running planes, with the current rate of progression in technology we may see it soon./ppa href=//www.boilerjuice.com/orderTankeredOil.php? target=_blankOrder Heating oil/a For all your a href=http://www.boilerjuice.com target=_blankHeater Oil/a/p
